A small terminal, ten minutes from the centre — and why the protocol still matters.
Florence's Amerigo Vespucci airport — FLR, locally Peretola — is one of the most discreet arrivals in Italy. The terminal is compact, the road into the city takes ten minutes, and most international travellers connect through Rome or Milan to reach it.
AYR Concierge arranges Florence transfers with chauffeurs holding terminal access. The vehicle waits at the dedicated VIP lane outside arrivals; the chauffeur meets the traveller airside where permitted and walks the party to the car. Luggage is handled directly to the trunk.
From the airport to the Lungarno hotels is twenty minutes in normal traffic. For travellers continuing into the Tuscan countryside — Chianti, Val d'Orcia, San Gimignano — the V-Class is the standard vehicle and the same chauffeur usually stays with the party for the full stay.
